Pressing the tail switch halfway will momentarily turn the light on and doing this repeatedly will switch between the two modes as well. While the light is on, press the tail switch twice to adjust the brightness level, and if it's off, a half-press followed by a full press changes the brightness settings. The initial factory setting is set to Mode 2 which changes to Mode 1, but this can easily be reversed to fit your lighting needs.Multiple Battery Compatibility Running on an included AAA battery, the i3T 2 can run up to 21 hours on its lowest mode. It's also compatible with a 10440 rechargeable battery, boosting the output to 300 lumens and extending the runtime.
