Greetings For sale a 5pcs pack of custom made quick tinders for fire starting. This tinders have been custom made using 100% cotton surgical grade dental cotton rolls. They have been waxed using red, unscented quality wax / paraffin for a longer burn time. This item is a must for campers to start camp fires or for preppers looking an inexpensive, yet practical solution to build emergency fire. As tested, flame will run from 8 to 14 minutes, (results may vary depending altitude, wind speed and humidity) but will allow you enough time starting your fire and safe your lighter/ matches. Easy to use. 1. Do a small cut along the quick tinder, or separate it with your nails. 2. “Fluff” it up, gradually pull strings of cotton from the core as you intend to create a cotton ball. 3. Place the tinder in the fire designated area, protect it from wind gusts. 4. Lit it up. For better results with fire rods/steel sparks, make sure to separate cotton fibers from the core of the tinder. 5. Once the fire is going, gradually apply you fire material. Start from easy flammable ones and as the fire grows apply larger pieces. (Example. Start with dry leaves pr small wood sticks and slowly apply larger sticks and finally a log. These quick tindera are semi-waterproof. Paraffin offers a limited impermeability to the tinder. However store them in the provided plastic zip bag and/or away from water and moisture.
