Kit contains 48 waterproof cotton mini logs. 2 small ziplock bags of fatlighter pine sticks, 1 small bag of fatlighter pine shavings, 3 , 5 count ziplock bags of waterproof matches, 1 black rectangular tin with orange rubber band to keep waterproof mini logs in while hiking , camping , or storing until used. Items come neatly packed in a white gift box with folding lid with a camping scene logo that reads FIRE STARTER KIT/ ALWAYS BE PREPARED. The mini logs are dipped in paraffin wax making them waterproof. To light mini log, twist log back and forth breaking outer layer of wax exposing cotton fibers underneath. The more fibers you expose the easier it lights. This kit is great to have to start fires when needed even under wet , damp, conditions. Place one in each vehicle , ATV, boat, etc. Always be prepared for the worst.
