This is a great whistle that has an expensive looking oval metal plate with the monogram of MKF. Loud enough to be found if lost and to scare man or beast attackers away. It was black with tarnish when I bought this at an estate sale (see photo). It polished up beautifully and has stayed that way for the several months I have had it.
